VISION
2025 Mano Cornuto Pinot Noir Rosé
Bracken Vineyard | Eola-Amity Hills Oregon
Proceeds go to the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation. Read about their work here.
The wine is 1.2 tons of Pinot Noir, farmed organically and biodynamically by Shelby Perkins at Bracken Vineyard.
The site is a west-facing bench at 630–750 feet in the Eola-Amity Hills, a truly special place producing Pinot Noir with a ton of energy.
The fruit was picked on the morning of Friday, September 5th and moved to Walter Scott Winery, where the team put it to rest in a stainless steel tank. Fermentation took place via native yeasts, after which the wine was moved to two Chassin second-fill barrels for malolactic fermentation. No fining or filtration. Bottled in late January 2026. 12.5% alcohol.
Dry, dry, dry. 0.01 grams of residual sugar.
The wine is intensely citric, much paler than your average Oregon Pinot Noir Rosé, with higher acidity (one of the signatures of Bracken Vineyard), balanced by what reminds me of ripe, sweet lemons and tangerines.
